MGR Charitable Trust / Apeiron Healthcare is organizing a free medical camp, in collaboration with the Jayaprada Foundation in Makkapeta village scheduled from 31st July to 1st August.
Katuri Medical College Camp (2024)

In a continued effort to make quality healthcare accessible to underserved communities, a comprehensive medical camp was successfully conducted in Katuri village. This initiative was organized to extend essential medical services to the rural population, many of whom have limited access to regular healthcare facilities.
The camp offered a wide range of services, including general health check-ups, blood pressure and blood sugar screening, diagnostic investigations, and consultations with experienced doctors. Special attention was given to vulnerable groups such as women, children, and the elderly, ensuring they received proper care and guidance.
A dedicated team of medical professionals, paramedics, and support staff worked diligently throughout the day to attend to patients, provide health advice, and distribute free medicines. The camp also included awareness sessions on hygiene, nutrition, and preventive healthcare, empowering people with the knowledge to lead healthier lives.
Despite logistical challenges, the medical camp saw an encouraging turnout of residents from Katuri and nearby areas. The positive response and participation from the community reflected the deep need for such outreach programs.
This initiative reaffirmed the belief that mobile and community-based healthcare models are vital for addressing healthcare gaps in rural India. The Katuri Medical Camp stands as a testament to our commitment to bringing healthcare to the doorstep of those who need it most.
